After the unexpected death of her mother, 20 Year old Ocala takes a year off of school to retrace her mother's infamous road trip from northern Maryland to the sunny beaches of Ocala, California. With only an old Polaroid, a beat up van, an unexpected pet and a journal along for the ride, Ocala hopes the journey will help her understand her mother's choices and come to terms with what the world will look like without her.
